OUR COACHES
Head Coach Jennifer Burns
Coach Jennifer Burns took on the head coaching position this year. She was a standout field hockey player at Upper Darby High School and Mansfield University, where she played goalie and defense. She began her coaching career as the JV coach at Governor Mifflin High School and later served as an assistant for CDHS field hockey. She also coached at Swatara Middle School and Central Dauphin East High School. In addition to field hockey, she coaches middle school basketball and track and field.

Coach Burns is in her 24th year as an English teacher. She currently teaches at Central Dauphin High School.
Coach Burns assembled a team of coaches with tremendous experience, passion and love of Field Hockey.

Varsity Assistant Coach Taylor Barcale
Taylor Barcale is serving as Varsity Assistant Coach. After her freshman year at Division 1 James Madison University, Barcale joined West Chester University's division 2 field hockey program. She served as team captain during her senior year and led the team to back-to-back Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships.

Barcale was named the 2018 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Defender of the Year and was twice named 1st team All-PSAC and 1st team All-ECAC.
​
At Lower Dauphin High School, her team won back-to-back state championships. She graduated in 2015.
​
After graduating from West Chester University, Barcale went on to pursue her Master's degree at Louisiana State University. She is currently an 8th grade English teacher at Swatara Middle School.
