CD Defeats Lower Dauphin in Overtime to Win District III Championship

WHTM-TV

The Rams will take on Pine-Richland in the PIAA Class 3-A semi-final on Tuesday, November 17, 6 p.m., at Landis Field.

Rose scores in overtime defeating Lower Dauphin 2-1.

Central Dauphin won its first District III field hockey championship, defeating Lower Dauphin 2-1 in the first overtime of the 2020-2021 District III M&T Bank Class 3A Field Hockey Championship final.

A goal with 5:39 to play in the extra period by CD scoring machine Hope Rose lifted the Rams to the their first title in their first championship game appearance since a 3-1 loss to Penn Manor in 2012.
